End-of-Year Festivities
New York
To start off the holiday season with a festive mood and strengthen our team bonding, we organised a team building event on the very first day of December. The event featured an exciting competition where team members showcased their creativity and building skills by participating in an Ugly Jumper & Gingerbread House Building Contest. It was a fun-filled experience that brought everyone closer and fostered a sense of togetherness among us.
We had a Morning Meeting the same week, with some exercises to enhance our teamwork skills. It was a great experience for all. Now, we have the privilege of enjoying breakfast while admiring the stunning view from our Boardroom. The sight is truly breathtaking, and it adds a serene and refreshing touch to the start of our workday.
At our recent holiday party, we all gathered together to enjoy a delicious meal and each other’s company. The highlight of the night was our lively White Elephant gift exchange, which had us all laughing.
Greenwich
Greenwich celebrated the Christmas Holiday together at the beautiful MOLI. It was a great celebratory evening capping off an incredible first quarter. Fancy cocktails, Peking Duck and lots of laughs led for a highly memorable evening.
Chicago
End of Year Holiday Party:
After a year of hard work, we took the time to unwind and celebrate. We held our holiday party at AceBounce, where we ate, drank, socialised and played table tennis. It was also a great opportunity to hold our office superlatives awards.
White Elephant:
A White Elephant Gift Exchange is a popular Christmas event where people share a random gift and also walk away with a random gift. We had everyone bring in one inexpensive wrapped gift to contribute to the common pool and took turns drawing a gift. As we were in holiday spirit, we also wore our ugly sweaters.
San Diego
The San Diego team celebrated the holiday season with dinner and a White Elephant party. We ended the night by seeing a Fleetwood Mac cover band.
Montreal, Laval & West Island
The holidays were a lively time throughout our three Montreal offices. Although the days became a little darker and colder, each office kept things merry and bright by decking the halls and organising gift exchanges. In the spirit of holiday sharing, the Montreal office also organised a themed potluck where each participant had to bring a dish that represented their culture or heritage. But the festivities didn’t end there. On December 14, all three offices united for a wonderful Christmas celebration at Gibby’s. It was the perfect way to celebrate our accomplishments and reaffirm our appreciation for one another.

Masked in Mystery. The annual Christmas party was a night to remember with fancy outfits, masks, great food, 360 camera and dancing. What a great way to end the year!
Sydney
In the heart of our Sydney office, the Christmas spirit soared as each team member added their favourite ornament to a gorgeously adorned Christmas tree. Laughter and joy filled the air as we played Secret Santa, exchanging gifts that brought joy to all. The day was sweetened by Travis’s mother's homemade brownies, a delightful treat from our summit team. To cap off the festivities, we celebrated the year’s end with a dinner cruise, enjoying breathtaking views of Sydney Harbour and skyline. The Christmas celebration was a perfect blend of shared moments, festive decorations, and delicious treats, creating lasting memories for our close-knit team.
India
We recently celebrated our end-of-year Christmas party, featuring an exceptional venue and meticulously planned arrangements. The event was thoroughly enjoyed by all staff members, Managers took the opportunity to share their professional journeys and highlighted success stories from the past year.
Islamabad
The Islamabad team had its Annual Dinner on January 12. The team picked up a unique theme of “Qawali Night” organised at the rooftop of a hotel. There was live folk music enjoyed by everyone. Lively discussion and reflection on the past year along with goals and commitments for the year ahead.

Tokyo
We held our year-end party on December 15.
We all had SUKIYAKI together, and afterwards we went to a theme park called “Joypolis” in “Odaiba” and had some fun. Michinaga Ito, our sales manager, who could not attend the party, had his birthday the next day, so we took a video message to congratulate him.
Mumbai - NMIMS College Placement Drive 2024
Our team conducted a series of campus interviews at NMIMS University as part of our ongoing recruitment efforts. The interaction was aimed at acquainting students with our company’s culture, the opportunities we offer, and to assess potential candidates for future openings. The event was well-received by the students of NMIMS, with a robust turnout indicating high interest in career opportunities within our company.

It was Christmas Jumper Day at the London office on December 7.
On December 8, the London Office exchanged its Secret Santa presents followed by the Christmas Party at local Spanish Tapas Bar “La Viña” located just a few minutes away from the office in the beautiful festive atmosphere of the Leadenhall Market. A fantastic evening was had by all, getting into the spirit of the festivities with a few closing words for the year shared by Adnan Quazi, Andrew Mowat and Lavinia Enea, along with some fun social awards presented by Linguarama’s Jack Barry, and marcus evans’ Katie Sorrell.
Cyprus
On December 8, the Cyprus office hosted the annual awards day, honouring exceptional employees for their achievements. John Farry, CEO Summits, delivered his end-of-year speech, and everyone exchanged their Secret Santa gifts. The festive celebrations continued later that evening with the Christmas Party at 1888 venue. We travelled back in time to Studio 54, adorned with sparkling disco balls and pulsating grooves.
Bright Colour Day
Jan 15 is known in some places as Blue Monday but not at marcus evans!
To offset some of the cold winter weather and returning from the holidays, we organised a Bright Colour Day to get everyone dressed in bright colours, to brighten up the early onset of evening.

Our team celebrated Thanksgiving with great enthusiasm. As part of our team-building activity, each member of the team brought in a delicious homemade dish to share with everyone. We all gathered together to express gratitude for our team and our loved ones while enjoying the scrumptious meal. It was a warm and joyous occasion that brought us all closer as a team.

American Red Cross Blood Drive:
We kicked off the season of giving by participating in a blood drive by The American Red Cross. We had over five members from the office donate blood. We understand that donating blood plays a crucial role in maintaining a steady blood supply for both routine medical needs and unexpected emergencies.
Odyssey Open House:
We had the opportunity to be invited on the magnificent Odyssey Chicago river vessel. We were anchored on the Chicago river for a fun afternoon filled with small bites, cocktails and socialising.
Thanksgiving Potluck:
Continuing our yearly tradition, we had yet another delicious potluck on the 20th floor of our office building. After a rather intense game of trivia, Kate Mellon won a turkey which she ended up donating to a food shelter in the neighbourhood.
