Chicago
We had a lovely holiday party at the Oldtown Pour House here in Chicago. We came together to celebrate, socialise, and enjoy the festive atmosphere. It was a fun night filled with great food, drinks, music and games. We also hosted a raffle and our annual office superlatives awards which covered awards such as office bestie, office clown and gold medallist.

We celebrated the holiday season with a Hibachi dinner. Afterwards, we watched a stand-up performance by Preacher Lawson at Mic Drop Comedy.
Laval, West Island and Montreal
Montreal ended the year in style, with a multitude of festive events to get everyone excited for the holidays and to celebrate 2024! All offices came together on the evening of Friday 13 December 13 a festive dinner at Portus 360 in Downtown Montreal, where we feasted on a Portuguese style three-course meal, with lots of laughs and smiles!
Leading up to the feast, on the same day SP celebrated with Secret Santa, fighting for the best gift! While DA exchanged gifts for Secret Santa. This was followed by a Christmas Brunch hosted in the downtown office for a relaxing festive morning.
DA Montreal had a week of festivities which included a quaint luncheon at Les Enfants Terribles just down the road from the office, a great way to celebrate the team and their accomplishments this year.
Montreal had a very relaxing and fun end to the year and is excited for what’s to come in 2025.
Barbados
Christmas Party
The Barbados team bid farewell to another successful year and raised a toast to the upcoming season, at a fabulous, password required, ‘Speakeasy’ Christmas party. Specialty cocktails, delectable food and live DJ entertainment set the mood for a night of dancing, laughs and festive energy.

Yet another toast, around the Christmas tree, to say goodbye for a short while to deadlines and spreadsheets, lots of cheer all around.
Mumbai
The Mumbai office’s end-of-year celebration at Kitty Su, The Lalit Hotel Mumbai, was a dazzling affair, transporting attendees into the glamorous world of 007. The Bond-themed event saw guests arrive in their most captivating masks, ready for an evening of intrigue and excitement.
The vibrant atmosphere buzzed with energy as teams gathered to celebrate a successful year. A highlight of the night was the “Top Secret Mission” game, a thrilling competition that put everyone’s spy skills to the test. Participants deciphered clues, solved puzzles, and perhaps even engaged in some playful “espionage”, all vying for the coveted title of top agent. The ultimate spy was crowned the winner, earning bragging rights and a special prize.
The celebration also shone a spotlight on the company’s top sales performers, recognising their outstanding contributions and dedication throughout the year. Their hard work was celebrated in front of colleagues and peers, fostering a sense of pride and accomplishment.
As the evening unfolded, guests indulged in a delectable selection of food and drinks, creating the perfect ambiance for socialising and networking. Live performances added another layer of entertainment, enhancing the festive mood. The Bond theme permeated every aspect of the event, from the décor to the music, making it a truly immersive and memorable experience.
The celebration provided a fantastic opportunity for the entire staff to come together, strengthen team bonds, and celebrate the collective achievements of the past year.

The London Office celebrated the festive season with our Christmas Party on Friday 13 December - the day after the office participated in Save the Children’s Annual Christmas Jumper Day (sadly no one snapped a photo from!). The office was treated to a three-course meal, complete with reception drinks and cocktail trees in a private area on the Mezzanine level of local haunt “The Oyster Shed”. This year’s Shimmer & Sparkle theme saw people dressed to the nines and bringing the best glitz and glam! A great evening was had by all, celebrating 2024 coming to close.
Cyprus
On Friday 13 December, the Cyprus office hosted its annual awards day, recognising outstanding employees for their accomplishments. John Farry, CEO Summits, gave his end-of-year speech, and everyone exchanged their Secret Santa gifts. The celebrations then continued into the evening with the Christmas Party, featuring a lively masquerade which added an extra touch of mystery and fun.

Barbados
The office celebrated with everyone’s love language... Food! We bonded over a catered brunch, sweet treats, and lots of vibrant colours, as staff dressed in their Valentine’s best.

A few days before Valentine’s Day, everyone had to draw a name of a colleague at random, so they could make them feel special (in secret) on Valentine’s Day with an act of kindness.

Trivia
Since our last update, we have participated in codenames and decodables. Both games heavily rely on the players’ ability to make connections between words and deduce hidden meanings, encouraging communication and teamwork. We are currently playing Pictionary. We will be moving from sketching masterpieces (or at least recognisable blobs) in Pictionary to... well, let’s just say our next trivia challenge will involve a bit more strategy and a lot less drawing. It will be a battle of wits, and alliances will be formed and broken.
Blood Drive
The NBC Tower coordinated a blood drive which provided us the opportunity to donate blood. It was a rewarding group experience, fostering a sense of unity and shared purpose.
Thanksgiving Potluck
We hosted our annual Thanksgiving potluck where we all brought a dish to share, contributing to a diverse and abundant meal. We played an intense game of Heads Up and wrapped it up by putting up our Christmas Tree in the office. Not only did it reinforce the holiday spirit, but it also fostered a sense of community as we indulged in the collective effort.

Independence Celebrations
November 2024 marked the 58th year of Independence for Barbados, and the team didn’t miss the opportunity to show up in vibrant national colours while enjoying tasty traditional “Bajan” treats like fishcakes, conkies and tamarind balls.

At marcus evans, dedication, collaboration, and sheer brilliance never go unnoticed. Our commitment to collaboration and excellence was highlighted during our team outing to Della Adventure Park in Lonavala, Maharashtra, India.
Our outing to the adventure park was a remarkable success, led with utmost care by Anushree Dalvi (Project Manager), Jayesh Rajput (Dotnet Developer), Mohammad Khan (DevOps Engineer), Adarsh Giri (Python Developer), and Pratham Jha (Business Analyst). Their leadership ensured a seamless experience filled with fun and excitement for other team members as well. The day kicked off with a paintball game, where teamwork and strategy brought us closer together and officially won as well. Additionally, we faced our fears with bungee jumping, supported by our teammates. The adventure continued with sky cycling, offering breathtaking views and shared laughter.

London Summits Annual Team Building
Over Thanksgiving 2024, the London Summits team took their annual team building trip down to Sussex. Staying at the beautiful Eastwood Observatory, the team enjoyed two days out of the office reflecting on the past year, what makes the team so strong, and planning out a bigger and better 2025! Alongside the theoretical activities, some of the physical activities included navigating some leadership rotations whilst cooking a three-course meal together and getting stuck in with a 90-minute rock climbing and bouldering session at The Ordinary Climbers in Polegate.
