Operations Team
APAC:
The APAC summit team has started the year busy with three successful back-to-back summits in Australia in February and March, servicing more than 300 attendees from Marketing, Human Resources and Finance backgrounds. One highlight was the colourful Hawaiian evening at the CFO ANZ Summit.
The team is now preparing for our Private Wealth Management APAC Summit Singapore edition which will be taking place at the Pan Pacific Singapore, Marina Square in May.
Europe:
We have run the first three summits in Europe for 2024. All three events were successful, including the EuroPack Summit where we hosted a casino night which was very well received by our attendees.
North America:
The beginning of the summit season has been quite busy for North America! We kicked off the year with quite a few events taking place all over the country including some new destinations such as San Antonio, TX, and San Fransisco, CA. All events were very successful with various highlights such as the “Texas Blue Jeans Backyard Barbecue” in Dallas and the “Viva la Noche” Mexican Fiesta in San Antonio. Chucking oysters was also the attraction of our PWM Summit in San Diego. What’s next? You will need to wait for the next newsletter where we will be featuring exciting things from the next round of events!

San Diego
After two decades of the San Diego regime being lead very successfully by Marc Rosenberg, it is exciting news that Tim Eisenmann is now stepping into the role and taking over the day-to-day operations leading the team and growth of the office. Prior to covid, Tim managed the downtown San Diego office with much success and will now, confidently exceed that success in SD1. “I want to personally thank Marc Rosenberg and Doug Lampinen for their support over the last ten years as they have been pivotal in my growth. I am looking forward to finishing out the 2024 fiscal strong personally but more importantly on the San Diego team level,” said Tim Eisenmann.
In April, Marc Rosenberg was promoted to CCO - Chief Client Officer. The role, initially focused on NA clients and in due course global, is primarily to ensure the evolution of our client offer and internal sales approach to existing clients, to maximise the levels of repeat business, while focusing on improving the overall Summit experience for our clients and staff.
Greenwich
Jason Savoca has been promoted to take on an entrepreneurial role in leading a sports team for the Soccer World Cup which will be happening in the US for the first time in 30 years!!
We welcomed Ollie Stoop, CCO for Curation to the office with the kickoff of our Global Soccer Management division in Greenwich, and also Khalif Samuels, General Manager, was down from our Toronto office.
The Greenwich team is ramping up for The Elite Summit at the end of May in Switzerland and then right into the Private Wealth Summit in Boston in June.

Mumbai - NMIMS College Placement Drive 2024
Our team conducted a series of campus interviews at NMIMS University as part of our ongoing recruitment efforts. The interaction was aimed at acquainting students with our company’s culture, the opportunities we offer, and to assess potential candidates for future openings. The event was well-received by the students of NMIMS, with a robust turnout indicating high interest in career opportunities within our company.

Kuala Lumpur
marcus evans attended the MY Career Fair 2024 hosted by Jobstore Malaysia. The event was held March 23-24 at the KLCC Exhibition hall. We had the team from Sales, Production and Marketing at the event.
It was a great two days well spent, as we generated a lot of interest and awareness from fresh graduates and job seekers.
From this event, we had the opportunity to form a new connection for a potential collaboration with a university, and we gathered 136 profiles. Two of the individuals are now officially onboard with us in the KL LSE Sales team and there are more to come.

Sydney
Dream Team Down Under! The Sydney team was pleased to have Jeremy Stanton-Boyce down from the West Island office for two months, and Kevin Stern came over for a couple of exciting weeks as well!
Kevin Stern, in addition to his current role, has taken over senior responsibility from Marc Rosenberg for the group’s Australian Summits business.
Group Talent
On April 22, Lavinia Enea, Group Director of People & Talent Development, visited the Milan Linguarama office and met Paola Piccinini, Regional Manager France, Italy, Spain.
London Sponsorship and Forums
We had an excellent quarter with a good mix of rebooks and new business across both conferences and forums. We ran the Telecoms Energy Efficiency event in January and it was great to see a 70%+ of the revenue rebooked onto future dates as the team executed improved pre client prep and rebook processes.

International Visitors in London
We are glad a few colleagues from the Summits SP Sales division in Japan visited the London office and met the local sales UK and Linguarama teams. Chisato Nomura and Kentaro Shimizu visited in February, and Mark Nihei in March.
We were also happy to finally meet Brett Jacobs, Conference and Training Production, visiting from the Cape Town office at the end of April.
EU, GFMI & ME US Sales
The European sales team based across Karachi and London continues to grow and develop as more seniors come through and a core leadership group is starting to emerge.
It was great to see Yashfeen Zahid visit the London team from the Karachi office for two weeks. The purpose and goals of this included meeting other divisional leaders in-person, attending the 4th Annual Commodity Risk Executive Meeting, and taking back and implementing best practices and strategies, which should lead to huge progress throughout 2024.
The GFMI team in London continues to hit record revenue months, which in turn has seen further exciting developments within the team. This has also enabled us to launch the ME US team, focusing on non-banking events, which is a portfolio we will now look to expand rapidly over the next year.
