Anthony Knox, our Chief Marketing Officer, recently visited the marcus evans office in Cape Town for his financial year-end reviews. His visit was marked by productive discussions and strategic planning sessions aimed at optimising financial performance for the upcoming year. Anthony’s insights and expertise were invaluable, providing all teams with a clear roadmap to achieve their financial goals. The visit also included a review of the past year’s achievements and challenges, ensuring that all teams are well-prepared to tackle future opportunities.
On his final night, Anthony took the managers out for a delightful dinner, fostering camaraderie and strengthening professional relationships. Overall, Anthony’s presence was greatly appreciated, reinforcing the strong partnership and commitment to excellence at marcus evans.
We look forward to welcoming Anthony back to Cape Town early next year.

Event Highlights for North America Summits
After a small summer break the North American summits are back. And what a return this has been! September is always one of the busiest months of the year and this time around we hosted eight summits in California and Boston.
All events were very successful with various highlights but the Rodeo Drive privatization for the evening reception of the PWM Summit was definitely the highlight of the month. What’s next? You will need to wait for the next newsletter where we will be featuring exciting things from the remaining events of 2024; the team will be traveling to Atlanta, Orlando, Jacksonville, Fort Lauderdale, Boston, Los Angeles and Dallas!

Event Highlights for APAC Summits
The APAC Summits team ran three highly successful ANZ summits in July, August and October. All three summits were rated excellent value by all clients attending, mentioning the fantastic programmes and amazing platform for knowledge transfer and networking.
Highlights of the social elements were the Backyard BBQ at the Australian CIO Summit in July, featuring dishes with regional Outback ingredients, and the Olympics Spirits night at the CMO Summit, highlighting the 2024 Paris Summer Olympics with an “Around The World Menu” celebrating the Olympic Spirit of tolerance, friendship, solidarity, and fair play.
And finally, our recent Pink & Proud evening at the HR Summit in October raising Breast Cancer Awareness and collecting donations for the National Breast Cancer Foundation, including a generous contribution by marcus evans Australia.
We have also launched the ME+App in the Australian market with great success.
The next and also last APAC summit for the year will be our Private Wealth Management APAC Summit in October taking place at the stunning and iconic Ritz Carlton Hong Kong, which we are all very excited about.
After this, we will deep dive into preparations for the upcoming season, creating more exciting and successful events in 2025!

SEA and Middle East Conferences
The 15th Annual MENA CFO Conference marked a milestone with its best results to date, thanks to the incredible contributions from each and everyone involved. APAC Conferences
The 6th Annual Psychosocial Risk Management Conference and the Aging Asset & Plant Decommissioning Conference were a few of the star events in 2024 for the Australian portfolio.
With over 150 participants, the Psychosocial Risk Management conference in August received excellent feedback which reflected the well-constructed agenda put together by the production team and the excellent execution of the event on-site.
We also launched our 1st Edition of the Aging Assets and Decommissioning Conference in Brisbane which was very well received with 80+ delegates and 5 sponsors taking the total number of participants, to 100+. All in all, it was a well-researched event that covered the main challenges facing the heavy industry sector in both aging plant and equipment, and strategies for decommissioning.
